Viola A. Illidge, 62, of Woodbridge New Jersey, passed away on October 27th, 2022.
Viola was predeceased by her parents, Harold J. Illidge, and Marlene T. (Johnson) Illidge. She is survived by her loving brother Frank T. Illidge, her Aunt Audrey Johnson whom she was taking care of, her cousins and extended family and many friends.
Viola grew up in Old Bridge, New Jersey and graduated from Saint John’s University of Staten Island New York on the “Who’s Who” list of nationally recognized outstanding students. Viola’s love for life was contagious and she bought a smile to everyone she encountered. She was an avid bowler and played on multiple bowling teams. She loved the time she spent on her hobbies which were mainly focused on arts and crafts. She strived to ensure she put her family first. Viola was employed by Verizon and had retired after a long-held career of 30 years. Besides bowling and crafts Viola spent a wealth of her time traveling and taking Aunt Audrey to Atlantic City New Jersey Casino’s where they would spend hours playing the penny slots and enjoying the atmosphere.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made towards the care of Viola’s 90-year-old Aunt Audrey who was in Viola’s care when she passed.
Family and friends are invited on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM to Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ 08879 for a celebration of Viola's life.
