Valerie Mandarakas

Valerie was an amazing woman, always caring for everybody. Loved her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren more than anything. Being with family meant more to her then words could express. Valerie will be missed dearly by everyone.

Valerie was born in Newark, NJ on March 4th, 1944 and resided in North Plainfield, NJ, before moving to Andros, Greece in 1986. Valerie is pre-deceased by her parents Richard and Irene Fitzgerald of Harrison, NJ; daughter, Maria Mandarakas in 1992 and brother James Fitzgerald; also, pre-deceased by ½ sister Janet Dorsey.

Valerie was happily married to her husband Nikiforos Mandarakas on May 5th, 1963 for 54 years. Valerie had three children Chrystal Combitsis & Husband Paul Combitsis, Maria Mandarakas, Dimitrios Mandarakas and wife Brooke Mandarakas; brother, Barry Fitzgerald & wife Nielsa Fitzgerald of Florida; four grandchildren, Dimitra Donnelly and Husband Ryan Donnelly, Violetta Mandarakas, Nikolas Mandarakas, Anthony Mandarakas; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Cora Donnelly

Memorial Services will be held at Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 500 Mathistown Road, Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087, Sunday, January 29th at 2pm. Funeral Services are under the Direction of Guardian Trade Service, LLC, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ 08879. Cremation is Private
