Tomas Capellan

Tomas A. Capellan of Perth Amboy, NJ, passed away, Friday, August 30, 2019, at his home with his dear family by his side. He was 70.

He was born in 1949 in the Dominican Republic to Silvio and Mercedes Capellan. Tomas was an avid Domino’s player. He was so good infact you could almost never beat him in a game. He enjoyed spending time with his grand children he was a true family man. He loved his family dearly. He was so kind and generous to everyone who he came across and would help anyone in need. He was a comforting a loving man who will be missed by all.

Tomas is predeceased by his parents, Silvio and Mercedes Capellan. He is survived by his loving wife Maria Capellan; daughter, Lauri Capellan; sons, Lenin Capellan and Henry Capellan and his spouse Miladys; brothers and sisters, Luz Mercedez, Santa Dionicia, Miguelo, Lucia, Teresa, Gilberto, Jose (Cheche), Margarita, Milagros, Francisco, Ezequiel, and Elizabeth; grand-children, Arlene, Hailey, Daniel, Alexander, Mark, Nicole. Hendrick, and Hadwin.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, September 4, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ 088789. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 5 at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 315 Lawrie St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Cremation is private.
