Stephen J. Fasullo, Jr., 37, of Parlin, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at St. Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick, NJ, after a long illness. Born and raised in Laurence Harbor, Stephen was a lifelong New Jersey resident and a devoted family man.
Stephen was a true sports enthusiast, proudly cheering for his favorite teams: the New York Mets, New York Giants, New York Knicks, and New York Rangers. He also had a passion for bowling and was a talented athlete, having played baseball in high school and continuing to play softball throughout his adult life.
Known for his incredible work ethic, Stephen worked hard throughout his life and was most recently a supervisor of security at The Towers in East Brunswick. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially around his fire pits, hosting BBQs, and singing karaoke with his family. His love of music was wide-ranging, from NSYNC and Backstreet Boys to country music, with Chris Stapleton being one of his favorites. His powerful voice filled his home with joy, whether he was singing while out or just around the house.
Stephen's love for animals was evident in his affection for his three cats and two dogs. Above all, he was a caring, funny, and loving man who was always ready to lend a hand. He was the life of the party, making everyone around him feel loved and appreciated.
His greatest joy in life was his family. Stephen is survived by his beloved spouse, Kelly, the love of his life; and their three sons: Nicholas, 13; Anthony, 10; and Vincent, 3. He was a devoted son to his father, Stephen Fasullo, and cherished by his mother-in-law, Cheryl Williams. Stephen is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Nicole and Michael Rosa, and his nephews Brantley and Conor, cousins David and Chrissy McAndrew, including Ashley and Danny Zeffiro, Bobby and Tara Gissubel, Jennifer and Kevin Kaniuk, and Melissa and Steve Badrick. He also leaves behind his aunt, Cheryl Gissubel, along with numerous other loving family members.
Stephen was predeceased by his mother, Lori Fasullo; his grandmother; Uncle Joey; Aunt Debbie; and father-in-law, Steve Williams. He will be dearly missed by his countless friends and loved ones, who will remember him as the vibrant, loving, and dedicated person he was.
