Sarah Olsvary

Sarah Henry Olsvary, 87, of Morgan Avenue in the Morgan section of Sayreville, passed away on Sunday, September 27 at her home.

She was born in Laurence Harbor, NJ before moving to Morgan in 1960, after briefly living in Fords, NJ. Ms. Olsvary began teaching while receiving a Master’s Degree in Special Education at Newark State Teacher’s College. She went on to become a Learning Disabilities Consultant in the Sayreville school system.

Sarah was a member of the New Jersey Order of the Eastern Star.

She was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Henry who died in 1992. She is survived by her daughter Ruth and her son Paul, of Morgan, NJ.

A private service and burial was held through Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ 08879. She was laid to rest at the Cloverleaf Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ. To send condolences to the family please visit the tribute tab at the top of this obituary.
