Laura Santiago

It is with great sadness we must announce the passing of Laura L. Santiago of South Amboy, NJ, formally, of Woodbridge, NJ, on November 11, 2021. She was 86.

Laura was born in Puerto Rico in December of 1934 to Bonifacio Santiago and Maria Velez before moving to the Untied States at an early age. Laura enjoyed planting flowers in her garden and dancing to music. She was an amazing cook! She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and would often babysit the grandchildren. Her favorite thing to do was to have her family over and cook for them. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Laura is predeceased by her parents Bonifacio Santiago and Maria Velez. She is survived by her daughters, Aileen Velez and her husband Pete of South Amboy, NJ; Nitza Castanos of Jacksonville, FL; Norma Valencia of Orlando, FL; brother, Bonifacio Santiago of Puerto Rico; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many dear friends

Family and friends are invited to Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ 08879, Sunday, November 14th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for a celebration of Laura's life. Cremation is private.
