James J. Moran

 James Moran, 73 of South Amboy passed away on October 3rd 2022 at Raritan bay hospital. 

James was born November 15th 1948 in South Amboy NJ and remained a lifetime resident. James was a graduate of Hoffman high school, he also served in the South Amboy fire department and briefly served in the Air Force reserves. James who referred to himself as Jim met his wife, Maryann in 1985 and were married for 35 years. Jim enjoyed spending time with his wife, building puzzles and spending time with his grandkids. 

James was predeceased in death by both of his parents and a son, and is survived by his wife Maryann, numerous children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the Alameda Center for Rehabilitation and Health care for their care and concern.

Relatives and friends are invited on Thursday, October 6th, 2022, to Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ 08879, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM for a celebration of James's life. In-house services will be held by St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church at the funeral home at 5:00 PM.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amby, NJ 08879.

Cremation is private.
