Alexandra Hornung

Alexandra Hornung of Cliffwood Beach, NJ formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at her home. She was 48 and those who knew her called her Ali. She was born on April 16, 1972 to Alexander and Rita Mackie. She loved taking peaceful walks on the beach while listening to the waves crash on the shore. She would often spend time with her partner going to the racetrack in Williams Grove and New Egypt which was one of her favorite things to do. Ali loved more than anything, spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She absolutely loved playing and doing crafts with them, telling them jokes and silly stories. She was a loving, caring, goofy person who would do anything for you. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Ali is survived by her Mother, Rita Mackie of Cliffwood Beach, NJ; Son, Michael Hornung and his Wife, Amy of Oaklyn, NJ; Daughter, Victoria Kolbinskie and her Husband, Edward of South Amboy, NJ; Partner, Dennis Jones; Sister, Michele Mackie; Brother, Scott Mackie; Grandchildren, Nikita, Melody, Vivian, Jenasis and Edward Kolbinskie, III; and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ 08879, Monday, September 7th, from 12 noon to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM for a visitation and celebration of Alexandra's life.
