Agnes Schaefer

Agnes Schaefer, 97, of Matawan, NJ, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 2 at the Madison Care Center, Matawan, NJ, with her loving family by her side. Agnes was a homemaker most of her life, she loved cooking and entertaining for guests. She was a devoted wife of late George J. P. Schaefer, loving mother of two children and cherished grandmother. She worked early on in her life for RCA and was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of South Amboy.

Agnes is survived by her children George Schaefer, III, of South Amboy, NJ and Barbara G Slovenz of Manahawkin, NJ; grandson George Schaefer, IV, and grand daughter Kristin A. Tocci.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Raritan Bay Funeral Service, 241 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy, NJ.  A memorial mass will be held Friday, December 7th at 11:30 A.M. at First  Presbyterian Church,150 North Broadway Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the food pantry at the First Presbyterian Church of South Amboy. Cremation is private.
